Implant Metallurgy and Forensic Materials Expert Witness

This expert is a Ph.D. biomedical engineer and licensed Professional Engineer specializing in forensic failure analysis of orthopedic and other medical devices, with particular depth in metal-on-metal hip implant wear.

Expertise spans medical device failure analysis, metallurgical and materials analysis, biomaterials, tribology and wear, root cause analysis methodologies including fault tree analysis, ASTM and ISO testing protocols, and ISO 17025 laboratory quality systems, extending to aerospace failure analysis and automotive component design.
